Course Description:

• Take a structured TMD/TMJ history and perform a standardized clinical exam (DC/TMD-aligned).
• Interpret imaging (panoramic, CBCT, MRI basics, ultrasound) and apply digital diagnosis workflows.
• Differentiate TMD subtypes (myofascial, internal derangements, degenerative, post-traumatic) and plan safe staged management.
• Execute/assist arthrocentesis and understand arthroscopy basics.
• Fabricate, adjust, and digitally plan splints.
• Apply laser (diode/LLLT) protocols safely for TMD pain.
• Plan botulinum toxin therapy for bruxism and hyperactivity (simulation).
• Prescribe physiotherapy and behavioral interventions; coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Outline surgical pathways (disc repositioning, arthroplasty, TMJ replacement).
• Document outcomes, audit complications, and meet CPD requirements.
