Course Description:

The basic implantology course is designed for all dentists who have limited or no experience with dental implants. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on content, clinicians will learn the theoretical basics and practical procedures for simple implant placement and restoration.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

  • Determine clinical scenarios and appropriate candidates for simple implant treatment.
  • Develop a dental implant treatment plan.
  • Prepare the surgical site for the placement of an implant.
  • Select and place the optimal implant type for the surgical site.
  • Select the correct prosthetic components for implant restoration.
  • Take an impression for an implant-supported prosthesis.
