Course Description

AutoCAD is a software application for computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting. The software supports both 2D and 3D formats. AutoCAD software is now used in a range of industries employed by architects, project managers and engineers, amongst other professions. AutoCAD has also developed a few vertical programs (AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Structural Detailing, AutoCAD P&ID and AutoCAD Plant 3D) for discipline-specific enhancements. The aim of the course is to teach the concepts and use of key commands of AUTOCAD, enough to run and print engineering drawings.
