Course Description

This course provides basic knowledge about heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) distribution systems in design applications. The course provides insight into various systems, technologies and equipment configuration with advantages and disadvantages. It also illustrates and discusses some important guidelines and standards in this field. Fundamental areas of HVAC design process are introduced including: ventilation process, calculation regarding heating and cooling, design conditions for indoor and outdoor and the design of ducts.
