Course Description

The aim of this course is to train participants on the proper, systematic approach for assessing and managing a patient in a critical situation with the basic procedures; how to recognize a number of life-threatening emergencies; how to provide CPR, how to use an AED; how to relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

Identify a case of cardiac arrest in adults
Conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children
Maintain a recovery position
Use AED safely
